Fantastic pics! As you say, a fantastic day for photos and you've taken some great shots. Thanks for sharing!
p.s, I think the warship at the Pier Head was HMS Cambletown

Hello Mic
I just checked on 'G-INFO' and G-LFSG was once G-AYAA, an ex College of Air Training 180E which was based at Hamble. I used to fly this machine when it was based at Ringway 20(ish) years ago. It was one of the nicest PA28 i have flown, the 180hp donkey helped of course.
The COAT Cherokees had a modification which i don't think any other PA28 had and that was an extra window above the side window to give a better view in turns. So Mic you are flying an aeroplane with quite an interesting history.
How is your PPL progressing? Have you gone first solo?
Cheers
Shaun

You will be solo before you know it Mic. Savour the moment, you only do it once.
Good luck

Another mistake and decision taken too soon, especially seeing what has and is happening in the world. This vessel could surely have been made good use of in the Paciifc area as a result of the Tsunami damage and also Libya is still on the boil.
