During the recent (April) resurfacing work to Dunlop/Hale Road buses were unable to access the terminal building and had to terminate at the old Royal Mail building instead. Here are a few photo's I took using my Mobile phone so, the quality is not that great. What's that Beemer You 'can't tell the difference'!!!! ;D A St Helens Commander negotiates the tight entrance to the exit road. Judging from the newly painted kurb stones - this cost the company a few bob. An 86A ALX400 emerges unscathed. A rather full yard to the rear. A route 500 Scania, unable to find space at the rear of the building, square up to the front before reversing back Phew! Made it - the Scania rests alongside a Commander. And finally. As all bus nuts will know, this has to be the rarest photo of them all. An Alexander Bodied Volvo B7 captured in the Royal Mail yard whilst operating on the 80A. Enjoy .

What is rare these days about a decker on the 80? Route 80 Cadets are more likely to be found on the 74 75 and 79!
