With not having the need to use speedy boarding in the past, is it worth going for it at LPL because of being bussed out to the Tango apron?

LPL, I usually book SB and when bussed to the plane we have been allowed on the bus first and told that we will exit the bus from the Front Offside door.
hope this helps

Even travelling in peak time to the sunshone destinations with wife and son at least twice a year, I've still always been able to get three seats together as long as you get to the gate 45 mins before.

As lfc84 and steh report you can usually get you seat of choice without speedy boarding.
The one reason I would purchase speedy boarding would be so I could get the seat by the door for speedy exiting, so I would be at the front of the immigration queue and first at the hire car counter.
Unfortunately, if you arrive on a bussing stand no priority is given. Last time this happened at LJLA I was one of the first off the plane and on to the front bus via its front door, but later passengers forced you away from the doors of the bus. Both buses waited until everybody was off the plane. The two buses went in convoy to the arrivals and so both could park my bus stopped past the arrivals. Probably half the passengers got into the immigration hall before me!
The front door of the front us should be opened first, as with departures.

If they can get the bussing right for speedy boarders at other airports in the UK and Europe, both arriving and departing, why not at LJLA?
It's the handling agents and their staff that are to blame and need a rocket from easyland. Incidents MUST be reported for this to happen though, so don't hold back. It is no use complaining to staff at LPL, do it by email, direct to easyJet.

Priority for arrivals disembarkation in a one-class cabin is impossible to enforce let alone when buses are involved, there is no way a carrier can have priority pax disembark first and then have them sit in a select area of a bus. I have even flown business class and then waited while the rest of the plane boards the bus, and then gets to the immigration lines ahead of the business class pax. The only way to avoid this would be to have separate buses.

Speedy boarding applys to o/b pax and it has little or no bearing to i/b pax.

I have never seen the point in spending the extra amount as I have never had a problem sitting where I want to sit either with easyJet or Ryanair, On a flight last year from IOM with flybe, I had a reserved seat only to find another passenger sat in it. The clue is in the name "Speedy boarding" it has nothing to do with disembarking

One way to ensure pleasant travel by air is simple win the lottery and buy a G5 for personal use.
