;D Visited a few times-they used to store Vanguards there-- a good tourist area-sun,sand,the City of CARCASONNE NEARBY AND LOADS OF tEMPLAR MYSTERIES;
Brilliant area for top class local full bodied red wines--will be over there later in the year I think. Could be a tourist goer.

Having just drove past Perpignan airport this morning for another 100km south to Girona to catch a flight to Liverpool I would definitely use a service.

Nice idea but like jake I can't see it coming off. It's far too risky for them. Should it fail, it would take the club down with it.
If they are serious about it, then they ought to try and get an existing airline to operate it. If this isn't possible they could form a virtual airline by wet leasing an aircraft. They also need to reduce the amount Northern England airports down by at least 50 -75% if their going to make it a scheduled service. One offs could operate to the nearest airport to the game. Unfortunately, from a purely commercial view (should they decide on a scheduled option), unless two airports are used I can't see LJLA being a contender for this one.
