I noticed to-night on ITV a quite substantial advert for Easyjet entitled "Europe by Easyjet". I don,t recall seeing such an advert by them in the past but I could be wrong. Regards Beemer.

It is in response, and a bit of a dig at BA's latest offering apprently.

I gather that it is a Europe-wide advert, not just on British tv. Which explains why it does not 'plug' which cities in Britain they operate from.
Michael O'Leary may not be predicting a "blood bath" of competition across European LCCs this winter - but there is certainly a "battle" of adverts: BAW, Jet 2, Air France and EasyJet engaged so far on British tv.
I'm not so convinced that these profile raising company ads really work to gain passengers. Unfortunately I feel Jet 2's specific airport/routes ads from Manchester and Leeds, work better to get to the customer to the final stage of AIDA - Attention, Interest, Desire, Action.

Good point, and it seems like alot of money spent on a pointless advert..
