Very much appreciate the work involved in selecting, uploading and posting.
Some great shots, do like the moody skies and the interesting backgrounds, not to say dodgy touch-downs.
Thanks for selecting NWAN forum to share some terrific images on, it is appreciated.

PART FIVE Many thanks for the comments, and here are another 10 that I didn't think that there would be room for. Ist visit by brand new Blue Islands ATR G-NRRA SIAI-Marchetti 260, owned by local businessman, prospective politician and air race champion, still wearing its original and authentic Burkino Faso Air Force colours. Plain plane G-OJIB, arriving at 0540 am one June morning. Another view of Super Puma G-PUMM. University of Cambridge Chieftain (with extra survey mods) spent some time on the Island this year. New Legacy parked southside, due to stand restrictions. Brand new S-76, reputedly for a well-known West End department store owner. ATP SE-LGV remains in long term storage, with occasional tlc. And sometimes joined by an active ATP, awaiting ferry crew. Due to low cloud conditions, the annual Tynwald Ceremony flypast was reduced to just one Hawk in 2011, XX167 from 208 Sqdn Valley. That is definately it!

More great photos from David K.
Its just over a year since David K asked for a dedicated section for the IOM on this forum and it has just gone from strength to strength. Thanks to all who contribute.
Happy New Year,
Dave

I have to admit that the introduction of this section has been more than a benefit to members with the uploaded photographs being superb especially the interesting backdrops of stunning scenery and moody sky. The addition of cross winds adds impact to some of the shots. Best is an absence of Orange airbus and Ryanair taxis. Let`s hope 2012 allows more interesting shots to be uploaded. Thanks ;D
