I find it very interesting reading about the cruise ships now visiting Liverpool. I gather that the Cruise terminal is limited to "passing trade" rather than cruise departures. Having been on many a cruise in my time, I am puzzled as to exactly what the passengers find of interest for a whole day in a city like Liverpool especially when it is raining. (Same goes for Dublin.) OK. I know that's going to be a bit controversial, but, after all, there is only so much time you can spend in the Albert Dock and the Cathedrals. My idea of a cruise destination is somewhere like Antigua, Bermuda, Madeira or the Greek Islands. I imagine the arrival in Liverpool is pretty good, tying up next to "The Liver", etc. Cruising up the river to Lisbon is pretty good too.
Does anybody keep a log of arrivals at the cruise terminal? Could be interesting to see.

Time to dust off the old Cessna and book it into LJLA's GA facility. Bet when you find you can't see everything you want too in a day you'll be back too
