Hi groundhugger, apparently the A4 Pacific 60007 "Sir Nigel Gresley" had a cracked boiler earlier this year and is also having work done on the firebox. It is hoped that it will be back on the line by late October or early November. I also agree that Grosmont is a cracking little station and well worth a visit. Ian.

Great photos. Tomorrow I'm at flamingoland for a week with my son so if its not too far I'll have a drive to Grosmont.

What a selection & 37 264, This loco took me from Ayr to Malaig back in 1984, nice to see it is still in existance! Also the 50 looks a bit bent Here is a shot of 37 264 when It was back in service in : -
