Just been passed this email information. "Looks like another photo opportunity is on the cards as the Royal Navies newest type 45 destroyer that was commissioned on the 20th April is making a short visit to Liverpool. She will dock at the pier head on Friday and will be open to visitors on Saturday afternoon before sailing on the Sunday" I presume this will be HMS Dragon which is on trials after being Commissioned in April this year

Very futuristic looking ship. But as usual with British Military Procurement of late there is already a major problem with one of the weapons systems employed ? Who employes these num nuts who do this ?

That's a cool looking ship....my dad spent most of his time on escort carriers in WWII I wonder what he would have made of this one !

11am today Friday HMS Dragon just appeared on the horizon seen from my flat heading towards Burbo Wind Farm.
