OYMSI has two changes since it was last seen here - the letters on the tail (MDF ??) have gone, and the top engine cowlings have reverted to dark blue. Also, it used the callsign "Sandfire 932" rather than the registration.

Up early (for a Sunday) to see the Small Planet airlines charter to Verona depart - a B737-300 reg LY-FLJ still in Norwegian Air Shuttle colours (but no titles) - it was prev. reg. as LN-KKG. Think this is the only 737-300 in the small planet fleet that isn't painted in their colours.

GJECF was the aircraft involved in the alert early this afternoon, landing safely but stopping on the runway to disembark passengers before being towed to stand 3. The runway was closed for about 30/40 minutes leaving MISLE holding at KELLY and a Dornier at SLIDA.
Netjets 125-800Xp CSDRD "escaped" just before the incident and arriving later was Cessna 206H GSBKS which parked at Manx Flyers.

Also, it used the callsign "Sandfire 932" rather than the registration. OY-MSI has also acquired a third change - a prominent wifi housing on top of the fin. Also, if I've got this story straight, it departed about 1115 to Biggin Hill, to formate with four Spitfires!!!! Is it the Biggin Hill Air Fair today?

Also in today (Sunday) was Cirrus G-DOLI from Blackpool, to Manx flyers for an hour or so.
And yesterday, and again today a blue and white P68 Partenavia did an ILS overshoot, but on both occasions I wasn't near a radio, and didn't have my camera to hand. It clearly had lettering and/or regs under both wings.

A very pleasant surprise today was "Hebridean 02" a smart BN-2B Islander G-HEBI down from Burra, arriving about 1215 and parking outside Woodgate.
Cessna 310Q N915JM which arrived on April 16th parking on V for about 10 days, then returned on May 9th parking near the tower, made a couple of local flights over the weekend and is now parked by Manx Flyers - and is a possible candidate for resident ?

In yesterday afternoon. PA28-180 GAYUH is still parked at Manx Flyers this morning, joined by PA34 GBOJK.
Parked on V is Cessna 525A OOCIV - a first-time for this Belgian Citationjet.

The Cherokee has gone from the Manx Flyers, although Andreas resident G-AWIT is now there. G-BOJK still there alongside N915JM which came back in yesterday (I think). M-BXRH did several go arounds of 21 at about 13:00. OO-CIV left at about 14:30. Most interesting off all this afternoon was RAF Valley Bell Griffin ZJ241 'L' on stand 14, don't know when it came in but left at 14:10.

Cessna 550 GWAIN made it in through the fog and was parked on V at about 1330; Cessna 550 GOMRH made an approach this afternoon - did it land ? and I believe Be400 N497XP may have made it in as well ?

I heard N497XP shortly after the Easyjet, I think it landed but wasn't on the ground for more than 15 minutes.

Cessna 550 GOMRH landed before 0800 this morning so I'm guessing it didn't get in yesterday.

Fairly busy afternnon today (looks like things are starting to warm up for TT!)
RAF Cranwell B200 Kingair ZK459 'X' was on Victor before departing at 14:00. Visitors into the flying club this afternoon were Robins G-BGHM and G-BSYU with Cessna 182 G-WARP arriving at 14:35. Bell Jet Ranger G-LIMO arrived on Victor at 14:10. Another unusual visitor this afternoon was Cessna 310 OO-MSN arriving just after 15:00. Todays Easyjet was G-EZGE.

The Cessna T310R OO-MSN is operated by "Aerodata Surveys" and departed about 1630, climbing to 17,000ft (not bad for a 20+ year old twin !) and evidently doing some sort of survey work on the way back to Belgium.
Also heard was a G??EB routing into a "private site" - presumably Police HQ at Nobles Park as this is to be one of the 2 "Helimeds" for the TT.
