Peoples interpretation of airport codes are getting more bizarre (and longer).

Looks good. I suspect they know their own business best but I would have liked it to have linked up with Liverpool One too. Still, better than nothing - lets hope it generates enough income to keep it going. Obviously, it wont look like this in service but does anyone know if they will be painting the bus in a special livery like Arriva has for the 500/501 routes? This was taken from their web-site. Note, the link-up with their Mold and Deeside services. X36 AirLink Launches Ellesmere Port Bus/Rail Station - Cheshire Oaks - Helsby - Frodsham - Runcorn - Liverpool Airport. Replaces current 36 Service. X36 runs hourly between Ellesmere Port and Liverpool Airport with connections at Ellesmere Port with our SP1 and SP2 from Mold and Deesde. And a link to GHA's site; www.ghacoaches.co.uk/index.html

Spotted one of it's Optare Solos on route training this week - so looks to be coming on nicely. Don't build you hopes up too much though as I'm hearing it's not a very reliable company and has been fined a few times as a result. There were also rumours that it's Wrexham depot was due to be taken-over by it's largest rival earlier this year - something that as yet hasn't materialised.

Well it's been operating for a week now and I've seen four of them. Not a single passenger on any. I've asked a few friends who have also seen a few and guess what.....not a single passenger seen by them either.
I've taken a look at the airports website and there's no mention of the service on there. I've looked on FoLA's site (something would be passengers would not do) and theres a mention. Unfortunately, it just said to take a look at the links page. I then have to go back to the home page to find the links page (which comes under 'website links') click it and I'm hit with a whole mass of links to trawl through but GB coaches is there. To cut a long story short I noticed that FoLA have provided direct links to National Express, Merseytravel, and Merseyrail but not GB Coaches, Terravision, or Arriva.
Due to a massive own goal about to be committed by the Competition Commission this could well be the last new route that will ever service the airport (by both small and large operators) - at least the powers that be could try and make it work.
