Evening All Another military visitor to Barton this evening in the shape of Apache ZJ197, the Manchester weather certainly played it's part in welcoming it with consistent heavy rain throughout! You did well with those photos in what must have been really horrible conditions. Apache's are difficult to photograph even in good light! It would be good to see them visit Barton more often. I guess it was just a fuel stop?

Cheers Shaun Yep you're spot on there, it was a fuel stop for both pilots & aircraft and it was an absolute pain to photograph! We can only hope they fancy coming back more regularly, they were certainly given some nice treatment by Martin (LAC Instructor) Cheers,
