Kate Adie retired from the BBC 20 years ago…times and budgets have changed.

The important thing here is when did the BBC transform from a news organisation to an environmental campaigner!

Perhaps we should all be environmental campaigners. That doesn’t mean we can’t be forward looking. Premier League clubs could start by using the most up to date, fuel efficient aircraft instead of using old gas guzzlers. Would it cost more? Of course. Is it the right thing to do? Absolutely.

Man Utd are playing in Sevilla so nothing to do with football, I would expect it could be a UK government charter repatriation flight.

Good Morning,
I am aware that speculation is frowned upon on some threads but looking at the flight Number 600P would make me think this (in the old days) is a positioning flight as the letter "P" on the flight number would normally indicate the word Positioning empty into Liverpool. Possibly to operate later today or tomorrow to Seville with Football fans or the like.

How about,no BBC,run by a gang of old farts anyway, this is a company that turned a blind eye to what a certain DJ was doing, its about time they went,a company that charges us a licence fee, while every one else in the world get`s it for free. So, you'd make a whole lot of musicians, actors, performers, entertainers, dramatists redundant. You'd stop commissioning new music, drama etc. You'd close down all the radio stations. You'd wreck the BBC Proms and the other festivals which take place all over the country. You'd, at a stroke, end broadcasting in loads of other languages through the World Service. You'd end broadcasting in Welsh, Gaelic and Irish. You'd destroy the biggest - and aside from keyboard warriors in the UK - the most trusted news service in the world. You do not get broadcasting for free as many countries around the world charge a licence fee and, if it is commercial, you pay for the advertising yourself, albeit indirectly. And here's me thinking this was about air services/airports.

El Al will operate a Tel Aviv to Liverpool flight on Sunday 30th April arriving at 12:30. The flight will be operated by a Boeing 737-900 as LY211.

Presumably to do with Eurovision. Amazing how large Europe is these days even encompassing Australia.

The Sunclass A321 returns on Monday 1st May from and to Oslo (14:00-17:00) Presumably football related then (LFC play Spurs at Anfield on Sunday).
