Left home this morning in heavy drizzle and low clouds, gambled and went to Barton,arrived, dry ,warm and sunshine what a difference a few miles make. I think visit's to Barton are a hit or miss , you either make some or nothing at all.I normally leave about 9 on a Sunday morning and stay till about 12. I think most of the aircraft were at Sywell today and a couple left just as I arrived. Still the way I look at it it's a change of scenery and fresh air,just the thing for us old codgers,just one thing it's a wonder us diehard spotters haven't developed webbed feet .
