Did anyone record SBS or see anything flying/hovering/slowly around the Seaforth area tonight 15th at about 22.00. It was originally heading towards New Brighton with a dull yellowy light, which faded to nothing, my wife pointed it out as we returned home. I stopped and got a small pair of bins out but to be honest I have no idea what it was and I couldn`t hear any sound to help either, whilst I observed it it turned and returned in the direction of Seaforth, I would gestimate lower than 5`000ft

Definately NOT the police helicopter, as I said I was looking at it through bins but looked like nothing I recognised. But thanks anyway.

Could it have been one of those Chinese lanterns being blown about by the wind?

Could have been I guess, but I watched it with bins a Chinese lantern did cross my mind, but was quickly dismissed as I was pretty sure I would recognise a lantern through bins and it wasn`t that dark, plus I had a clear sighting of whatever it was? Problem was I just didn`t recognise it as anything I knew ? Just wish someone else apart from the Mrs. had seen it.
