Just a few movements seen to-day on the mound. Visibility was very bad indeed with landing traffic just becoming visible at roughly speaking, the bend in Baileys Lane or the first landing light post. Arr,

Re M-EMCT,how do you tell an"Ultra" from a regular 560/Citation V?
This frame is getting on for 20 years old,I thought the Ultras were younger.Have some of the original 7 window stretch 560s been converted into Ultras?

A helicopter calling Kingdom 01 has just used r/w 27 ILS at LPL and then gone on to Warton. Didn't see it, obviously with low cloud. Ideas any one. Regards Beemer.

Brian, I heard him call up Approach: Routing from (IIRC) B'ham to Carlisle via LPL, he didn't go via the 27 ILS though, as he was identified by ATC as being 8 miles North of the Airfield on transit direct to Carlisle. As Phil has correctly said, the pilot identified as an Augusta 109.
