Popped down to the 27 end to see the Falcon arriving. Got there at 1155. Shortly after a Dash 8 departed 09, so my heart sank realising that photos of the arriving Falcon would not be ideal. Shortly after the 27 road traffic lights started blinking red. I got ready for a 27 arrival out of the thinning mist ... and waited. Turned around to find a Beluga on the runway behind, in the process of landing 09. Nice one. I was too late to see the Falcon 7X landing though. Citation 560 Ultra, M-EMCT is parked on the west (far) edge of the GA, half way towards Keenair hangar. Citation 650 F-GVYC is parked in the south west corner of the GA Could not pick out the Beech Baron on the GA, but it may well have been there. The three engined Falcon had arrived early and is on the main apron, out-parked, just the top engine and tail visible from the 27 mound. You can pick it out on the first photo above the grass horizon line the left of the shot and infront of the EasyJet Airbus. The Beluga F-GSTA/1 is towards the NW corner of the main apron (ie fuel farm end), parked cockpit towards the river. The short stretch of Alpha taxiway is still closed. The Beluga landed 09, came off on the 27 end loop on Alpha, then along and used the 09 fast turn-off back onto the runway, along, then exited on the 27 fast turn-off onto Alpha then the apron entrance. Conditions still misty - although clearly better than yesterday! The south bank of the Mersey could just about be made out. The low cloud is breaking-up, with the odd patch of blue showing through.

Seen from the Mound and GA road. Pity they changed runways a couple of minutes prior to the arrival of the Falcon. As my old Dad said "you can't have cowboys every day".

Beemer,
It looks a different day, if you compare the two sets of Beluga photos! I think part of the difference is distance (I was using a telephoto, you must have been on a wide-angle), but have yuou altered the colour contrast too?
I looked down the GA car park road, but did not spot any cars parked just beyond the mound. Had a look at your usual '09 ops' position in the lay-by but you were not there! Thought I was the only one around to capture images of the Beluga arriving.

I was on the mound awaiting the Falcon and went to the GA road when it landed 09. (I was using a telephoto, you must have been on a wide-angle), but have you altered the colour contrast too? Using two cameras, different settings.
