Due to-day @ 14:30hrs is a Tornado from RAF Lossiemouth. Whether it be be for ILS/instrument training or not there are no more details. Regards Beemer.

I tell you what, I didn't see the tornado as I'm in work but I heard it alright! It was giving it beans by the sounds of it.

Seen to-day from a sunny mound, OY-SUN Cessna 402 dep. @ 12:32hrs. G-DEIA Citation XLS Thundercat 827 dep. @ 13:36hrs. G-VIPX Pa-31 Navajo @ 12:49hrs. G-BTMA Cessna 172 @ 13:05hrs. ZA404/013 Tornado GR.4A Lossie 03 ILS + g/a 27 @ 15:45hrs. Seen o/h Runcorn. Seen o/h LPL beacon heading north @ 13:55hrs. was red, white and blue AW.139 c/s N139. This aircraft will be night-stopping at LJLA to-night. Reg required. Regards Beemer.

The reason for the Tornado visit was that it was the lady pilots last flight before retiring and she may have had some connection with Liverpool and Air Traffic duly wished her a happy retirement. It is hard to believe that some one would want to spend the rest of their life doing crochet, bingo or God forbid golf instead of flying a Tornado ;D Regards Beemer.

Beemer, G-LBAL AW139 had c/s NBR139 and was in the area. The only thing is that its blue white and gold in colour but sounds right for your AW139 Hope this helps Richard
