After all the snow fall during yesterday, particularly in the evening, then the failure of the ILS for a while with diverts away, it seems remarkable that today the flight programme, as shown on the LJLA website arrival and departure pages seems to be operating smoothly, with the 'first wave' departures away, although a few remain on the board beyond scheduled departure time (EZY601 Belfast, EZY7001 Amsterdam, EZY7803 Barcelona, FR6673 Knock and EZY633 IoM).
Flights worthy of comment at 0830.
BE601/602, from & to the Isle of Man is cancelled (0810-0845).
W6 1612, Wizzair to Gdansk, which should have departed 2045 last night, is shown with an expected departure of midday today. Oddly I don't recall seeing the landing on the arrival pages yesterday, nor is there an arrival shown for today before the outbound.
EZY9614 from Belfast with an estimated arrival time of 0945 - not a usual LJLA flight number for a BFS flight , is it a re-programmed flight from last night?
FR02P, Ryanair positioning out to Leeds at 1430.
Added at 1015:
Two Ryanair Dublin flights operated at nearly the same time, our own FR448 scheduled for 0830 landed at 0922, closely followed by FR76AW from Dublin at 0930. The aircraft returns to Dublin with positioning number FR153P at 1030.
Clearly there are problems at Belfast and IoM as the outbounds from Liverpool are well delayed.
