So just to be clear the Blackhawks did actually land at LPL? Reminiscent of the Hueys we used to get to and from Burtonwood....happy days

Vanguard and others. Seven US Army helicopters together must be a record. A seem to call 3 US Army Chinooks together once upon a time on the North airfield. In amongst the Iroquois, Kiowas, Chinooks during the 70s and 80s serving Burtonwood, there were a (small) handful of UH-60 Blackhawk visits. One in 1984, two during 1989 and a further example in 1990. Then came a 21 year gap, with two together in 2011. Now the number has jumped from 6 to 13 in a day. The visits to Liverpool by the UH-60 Blackhawk are detailed: www.derbosoft.proboards.com/thread/3494

We have seen the Reg No of the Blackhawks we have heard that they were seen but were are the photo's ? to show that they arrived ,surely someone must have taken photo's of them,if anyone did why not show them on the forum, it seems to me that the only people who take photo's are the one's who you see on Meerkat Mound.
