Teneriffe is is Brisbane Australia, that would have been an interesting flight on a DanAir 1-11.!! At least it was a decent article from the Echo for once though

For some reason, and I have no idea why, Tenerife was spelt that way quite frequently in the early days of flights there. At a certain airport 30m to the east of Speke, the staff regularly used to put up a sign over the check-in desk for Gibralter... |

I note that easyJet's latest LPL route Larnaca is now frequently spelt with a 'k' |

Hi guys,
I would just like to say the photo's brought back some memories of my days on the ramp or should i say apron at Speke.
The people in the photographs became good friends.

Excellent photos,most of which I hadnt seen previously. The photo of the check-in desk at the then new international terminal - converted hanger which is now the sports centre was my favourite
