This was parked up on Promenade Wallasey today Thursday 22nd, no idea anything about the vehicle and not seen it previously, but presume it is from bus museum in Birkenhead but maybe wrong. It was in superb visual appearance.

The 'UV' reg is from central London, so the chances are it probably was with London Transport.

It is a London Transport RM (the RML's had a smaller middle window on lower and upper decks) and is in the "Schillibeer" livery which was a predecessor of the London General Omnibus Company. A few RM's carried this livery in service in the 70's. This bus served London till the late 80's then went to Glasgow with Clydeside Scottish, it's been preserved for some years now, a lovely old bus and a classic design

This bus gets around the Country a fair bit, at various fairs and rallies.
It was part of the Dewsbury Bus Museum collection in West Yorkshire and has been restored in the green colours it wore as one of the 1979 George Shillibeer Omnibus 150th anniversary buses. It's owner lives in Leeds.
It was one of the Routemasters that operated for GMPTE.
