We're guesstimating £30 a seat. The price will be set by the operator, not by us. It'd be a quid if we set the price

Gents,
How do you gain access as I will be on public transport and don't fancy turning up at the hotel to find I have to walk all the way round through the industrial estate.
Thanks in advanced.

Just walk in through the front gate of the hotel, we'll have people there to greet you who will guide you around the side of the hotel onto the apron.
It's a 2 minute walk fro the nearest bus stop.
Cheers,
Roy.

Seems not yet to have a mention, but seen from the SAHG Air Fair on the Speke Aerodrome site, the BBMF Dakota made an en route pass/go-around on 27 and proceeded up the east bank of the Mersey, clearly seen by the public outside on the Crowne Plaza apron. Earlier Martin Keen had been overhead in the Stearman providing nostalgia to the event. Missed the Dakota with the camera Brian but a couple of the the Stearman JJ

Attended the SAHG "Air Fair" on Sunday, getting there somewhat later than intended, so missed Martin Keen in the Stearman but just in time to see the BBMF Dakota flypast following the river northwards.
A beautiful bright, warm sunny afternoon with a constant breeze. Apparently, earlier in the afternoon there had been a good attendance, but by near 3pm the public were thinning out, with many stall holders starting to pack-up shortly after 4pm. Apart from FoLA and SAHG personnel, met few people (nice to chat with 'JetJockey' again) that I know - although many could have been there earlier in the afternoon.
Congratulations to SAHG for another excellent event, which must be an important fund raiser for them - but full marks for keeping admission down to £3 per person. Car parking seemed to work well, again using Littlewoods facilities next door. It always concerns me that as a 'local' I see no publicity for this event, but clearly some residents do!
On with the 'log' of aircraft seen:
"G-AJCL" Dragon Rapide FSM - once at the hotel entrance, now dismantled and looking rather sad! G-AMLZ Percival Prince 6E - looking really good externally now painted in its original scheme G-ANCF Bristol Britannia - part dismantled, some evidence of recent work with areas of paintwork freshly stripped. G-BEJD Avro 748 - fuselage sections now securely together, the fin (now painted red) lifted into place a few weeks ago G-BYBI Bell 206 Jet Ranger - Whizzard Helicopters, operating pleasure fights (at £30 for around 6 minutes) G-JMAC Jetstream 41 - BAe house colours G-SEXY AA-5 Yankee - dismantled, out of sight behind storage container WH291 Gloster Meteor F.8 - centre section no longer upright, but re-attached to the nose, so is stood on its own undercarriage again, with tail section in position, although not yet re-attached.
Cockpit Sections:
(G-AGPG) Avro 19 - clear evidence of much work since last year (G-ORAL) HS.748-2A - 'The Paper Plane' formerly Emerald Airways (G-SSWM) Short 360 - formerly Emerald & Streamline ...... Tornado F.3 (G-TEXA) Jetstream 41 - United Express colours (162730) AV-8B Harrier - 'Lucy', USMC colours J-1712 DH Venom FB.54 - Swiss AF colours
Overhead:
(G-BRUJ)/205 Stearman - flown overhead by Martin Keen ZA947 C-47 Dakota - BBMF clearly seen turning to fly up the river
