The 737 is Emerald Air whereas the other was Emerald Airways. The where abouts of the Emerald Airways fleet is if I have them right are:- ZS-ODJ (G-BPNJ) ,G-ATMJ, G-BVOU, G-OPFW, G-ORAL, G-OTBA, 748's all scrapped. N748D (G-SOEI) 748 flown to Southend for scrapping. G-OSOE and G-AYIM (Janes)stored at Southend. G-JEMA ATP scrapped. Of the other ATP's, two went to Coventry and the rest also went to Southend for storage. Lastly, G-BEJD lies forlornly out in the field at Blackpool.

I came across 3 of the Atlant Soyuz frames when passing through Chateauroux a couple of weeks back. Managed a shot of VQ-BCH (ex EI-CSZ), and VQ-BDU & VQ-BDV were also in full Atlant Soyuz scheme.

Nice shot plevtls.
I can't ever remember seeing tyre covers on aircraft before. Whats the thinking behind that? Does Chateauroux suffer from particularly bad weather or is it to protect the rubber from strong sunlight?

Not sure Ste to be honest. I know some of the A330's and A380's in TLS also wear the tyre covers for those in long term storage. With regards Chateauroux it always seems to be raining when I'm passing through!!

I supplied a link to this thread by PM to LPL to show what can be produced in tabular format when columns are all of a similar width.
Somehow he has promoted the thread from near the bottom of the index to the status of a new post! As a result, I have hurriedly amended the initial post to include the late 2010/early 2011 retired aircraft, EI-DAT to EI-DCC and their onward operators. It is thanks to 'LPL' that I have been reminded to update this information.

This is all great effort, and much appreciated, as I always like to know when planes that I have travelled in move on to new owners.
