Iceland has issued a red alert to the aviation industry following a 'sub-glacial' eruption. Details on the BBC website - www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-28913165Let's hope we don't see the same problems that followed the eruption of Eyjafjallajokull. Kev

Please don't believe, spread and feed on all the media hype.
The wind direction in the area of the wouldbe volcano is totally different to the last erruption which caused the problem. The red alert is in the area immediately over the wouldbe volcano and nowhere else.
The UK CAA have NO advisories in place.

I did not find any problem when the last eruption occurred. I was in Tenerife on holiday and all it meant was that I had an extra week in a 5 star hotel courtesy of Thomson for nothing. They only gave us half board so we had to buy our own lunches, what a hardship that was.
So every cloud or should that be volcano.
