This delightful grass aerodrome hosted an excellent afternoon of flying. It was mostly fairly gentle stuff, appropriate for the fine rural setting amongst the rolling hills and vines. (For nearby Cognac.) The weather was perfect and we picnicked alongside the '172 on the flight line. We were visited once or twice by yellow jacketed stewards who simply just wished us "Bon Appetite" and went on their way. For me the stars of the show were two Flamands in formation (See picture in the aircraft park, attached. Sorry its a poor one from an iPhone.) Also worthy of note the three EPSILON display team from Cognac, Cartouche Doré, a T6 and a microlight about the size of a bumble bee, fitted with two small jet engines and which went like the wind.
