Evening all Thought some of you would appreciate this photo of N31376 which was a resident of Woodvale back in the '60's & '70's with Liverpool UAS. Photo taken 27-July-2014 at EAA AirVenture, Oshkosh. A long way from home & good to see it still flying. Enjoy Graham GTF4J2M

That Chipmunk brings back many memories. I was a member of Liverpool UAS in1975. Checking my log book ,gulp from 40 years ago. - how can I be that old only seems like yesterday. I first flew WP797 on a solo sector rec. which in military speak was exercises 12 and 13 on March 25th .
Then again on April 25th.
We then re equipped with Bulldogs in June/July. Happy Days.
Log book also shows though that I flew round UK on a 214squadron Victor XA932 and did 2 overshoots at the now non existent Manston while at Marham on summer camp with our new Bulldogs.

I can remember flying from Woodvale in Chippy's early 70's although not this one. When I left the RAF in 1993 I was maintaining the 10AEF chipmunks & Liverpool / Manchester Bulldogs at Shawbury for a couple of years.
Good to hear you are still around Clive
