A 1940s weekend event held here over this weekend gave an opportunity to check on the aircraft exhibits on site
N3290 coded AI-H replica Spitfire MkIX on site for the event

and exhibited outside was the nose of G-AGPG Avro XIX

No sign of Hunter and Sea Hawk noses this time believed off site for sale....more info if I get it

Good to see that the Spitfire IX replica EN398/JE:J, which I noted on the forum back in May as 'missing' from the Sleap Museum (display room emptied and under refurbishment), has 're-surfaced' at Hooton Park. The fuselage was not far off the length and height of the room it was in at Sleap, so was difficult to appreciate properly - although it was kept safe and dry there.
