Some photos from today, including one I wanted to photograph for so long..an Air Tahiti a340 (THT7 see above post),finally came our way westbound, a prize catch.. for me anyway.
I will keep adding more to this post as they come out of the edit.
First up American Airlines and one of their A330s in the new colour scheme.

Next up , a huge Luffty A340, this -600 variant almost looks too long to fly but its proven popular with Lufthansa and Virgin Atlantic crews and their passengers. At launch I remember it being the longest passenger aircraft in the world.
Quick note on the photo..Not such a good frame this time, a touch of camera shake.Nose blurry, tail okay, left wing okay, right wing blurry.. this is such a large aircraft, and it passed real close. When they pass close you have to pan the scope real fast. The depth of field is so narrow at this magnification some components are slightly out of focus. Never mind, more practice reqd.

Next, another very close pass, this time the photo a little better note the sharpness at the nose..im happy with this qulaity but things fall off at the tail & logo..it is a frustratingly difficult method of photography but difficult is good for the mind ..so they say !

Next up , a BA 777 with one engine seemingly working harder than the other..but then again the triple 7 has more than enough power in reserve from those huge motors to "easy on a littl"
while cruisin over to las vegas.
