Well Phil you got her better than me IMHO Just as D-ABYI was approaching, the postie knocked, by the time I got back to the scope, I had all but missed it. Heres what I got, Another Flickr reject Im afraid.. "]The whole aircraft not in the frame..by the time i focused & clicked she was way too close and the Shakeies creep in because of the extreme mag, this is uncropped.. The world cup "fanhansa" special livery ( the yellow and red just visible on forward fuselage) is still on this one but it passed right ott at a very poor angle for a livery shot. Phil got a sweet shot above showing the Fanhansa lettering & soccer ball logo clearly visible ..cool shot Phil Got some more shots which I will create a new thread for. Got a sister ship to this one D-ABYF earlier around midday the first aircraft of my session today, a much better shot but not a special livery B748. Well executed Fanhansa Phil, and the TSC A330 exiting MAN down the Wallasey corridor, Nice Job Indeed, good details !!

Fellow flickr photographer and NY JFK Ground staff member Jake got a great shot of Yankee India "fanhansa siegerflieger" a few days later while on duty @kjfk Its a nice livery job,and a 747-8 intercontinental variant, not many of these around.. sad I missed that one One to keep an eye out for when she passes our zone again. Fanhansa 748 by Jakub Wil, on Flickr He has some great shots in his photostream of the tower too
