Is there any one else like me who while watching a film that features an aircraft, then writes down the registration to see if you have seen it. Sad, yes. The American series on Sky called Blindspot (Episode 7) showed some CIA agents escaping from the jungle in a Twin Squirrel N326SC that just happened to be there. In Episode 9 they are met by some baddies who take them in a helicopter, Twin Squirrel N326SC to a secret location. How did the baddies get the helicopter from the CIA? The helicopter in question is ex G-GMPA of Greater Manchester Police Authority seen many times at Manchester. Regards Beemer.

don't do that but there was a film where they took off in a jet ...flew through a storm in a 2 prop....landed in a 4 prop and got off the same jet they took off in.....think it featured in one of those film gaffs programmes.........
I've been watching old episodes of The Professionals. Quite often an old Alan Mann Jet Ranger but I've even seen a UK registered Xingu. The cars are great too!
I try not to, 'cos it annoys Mrs T so much, but I cannot resist commenting on these continuity errors. Is not as though you look for them. They just stand out!.
I've even flown in one - a Bond Dauphin 2 from Blackpool features in one of the Bond films (what else!), namely G-BFVV and my flight (over the Gas Rigs) was in 1984. Whichever Bond film it was came a year or two later.
I even used to keep occasional notes for a while in my general notebook - Proctor G-AMTJ used as a crashed wreck in the film "A Matter of Who". Also Dove "CN-LTV" as a desert wreck in "Quiller" on BBC1 in September 1975, the colour scheme was pure CAFU so I assume it was really G-ALTV.
I seem to recall several other familiar looking aircraft, especially if Elstree Film Studios were involved.
Much more recently I was watching "Foyles War" (the episode where the lady 'M' character blows herself and the MI6 boss up with a handgrenade), and apart from a well known Auster G-AJAJ, the Rapide G-AKIF features prominently, but also most curiously with a CGI-doctored background that clearly includes the old Liverpool Airport Terminal building.
I annoy Mrs Acklington quite often by replaying airfield scenes until I identify the location. Last night it was clearly RAF Benson (plus Pumas) in another "Midsommer Murders" mass killing.

Acklington, the reason you saw the CGI version of Speke Airport is that much of the current series of Foyle's War has been film in and around Liverpool. They had said that they wanted to use the Percival Prince preserved by SAHG at the old terminal/hotel but they never did. Pity as the cash for the rental would have been used on the 748 project.
Ron, you are right about the continuity errors in films, in one of the Bond films there is a fight on the tail gate of a C-130 that in some shots is a C-123. I love watching things like that.
I never cease to be amazed. talk about spending an hour or two! Browsing this movie site and with my headphones on listening to movie music, I could be here for days!

Hi Was on holiday in Las Vegas many years ago. Came out of the hotel on the strip to be greeted by crowds of people looking skywards. After a few minutes a DC3 came flying along the length of the strip at about 1000ft, suddenly people started jumping out of the plane and started floating down on their parachutes. It was only when they were near the ground that you realised that they were all dressed as Elvis. Turned out to be the filming of the film "Honeymoon in Vegas", starring James Caarn and Nicholas Cage.
