Hi spitfire250, I have to say my attention was caught there and no mistake, a aerolineas A340... The only A340 in skyteam is a by Aerolineas is a -300 variant, LV-FPV which was on the Buenos-Madrid Barajas rotation today AR1132 landing at around 3pm at MAD. FR24 does not have this one transiting our zone today. Aero Argentinas do not have any -200s in service at present. This one looks very much like a Star Alliance A340, perhaps one of the Lufftys. Vertical stab livery. Looks like Star alliance logo to me. Additionally, the aircraft last two letters of the reg (for ID purposes on the ramp) are towards the rudder on this one, on the aerolineas skyteam LV-FPV the letters are placed forward of this position.

Ah, always gets me mixed up, especially after photographing the actual LV-FPV at BCN back in October

Hi Spitfire, Lucky beggar getting some pics of LV-FPV @ BCN ! Of all the A340s out there, for me its a toss up for first place on the smartest looking one. The regular blue/white scheme of Aerolineas Argentinas and the other Blue/white scheme of Air Tahiti Nui. Both look fantastic. I would love to see LV-CSE pass through our zone. For an a340 fan like me, it would be a prize catch.
