A mostly clear day at last. The upper air is disturbed for photos though due to the cold front approaching from the North of us and pushing the warmer air we have enjoyed in recent days away to the South. Less than perfect conditions for photo sharpness but at least we have some action after a long break. My first photo of an A350 I had to be quick for this one, lots of high cloud around as it passed. Wasted a load of shots on it but I got one clear one that Im happy with. 23-4-2016 Qatar Airways A350-9 A7-ALC Doha-Boston QTR743 Qatar Airways Airbus A350 A7-ALC by Mike (Radiostationx), on Flickr Im glad I got that one as the next frame said it all about the high cloud A flickr reject.. I finally got a few hrs spotting in. Hope you liked the photo of the passing A350 we hope to see a lot more of these very soon but its visit in a way tainted with a bit of sadness as this variant will be replacing in many fleets one of my all time favorite aircraft, the awesome a340. A final photo (another flickr reject) of A7-ALC and her crew saying Hi to me and giving a warning of the cloud ahead with a cheeky wink of the nav beacon ! "]

Brilliant shots RSX - Fondly remember dot spotting from near Chester as traffic headed to Wallasey in a previous life in the UK - wish I'd been able to capture such great images then. (Wouldn't have needed to wait for "High in the Sky" to get the rego's a month later :-))
cheers
