A bit of a 'Tornado Fest' this morning - "Rebel 88" ZA560 'EB-Q' of 41 Squadron did a low approach and overshoot before departing to the East. Within the hour "Wolf 1" called up for two overhead holding patterns to be followed by a practice diversion. I am told that "Wolf 1" was showing as Tornado ZA459, but when looking up to witness the noisy holding pattern, two Tornadoes could be seen close together in the hold. They then split up for the second hold, but sadly cancelled the practice approach & diversion. One was then seen departing to the north-east.
Army Islander ZH002 then came in to PJC for lunch.
I am unable to post photos at the moment due to problems accessing 'Tinypic'. They have assured me that their engineers are working on a fix, as other users are also affected.
