Following image is just for showing as an example of hosting, came across this site by accident, clicking on the image takes you to the hosting site where you can use the zoom tool to view original size. postimages.org/Dave O

Interesting - thanks Dave. I have had at least half a dozen emails from Photobucket telling me of the 'changes' to my account, but I have no intention of meeting their ransom demands.

Not ofay with the forum's running, but I notice they can supply a plugin so anybody can just click on the upload image when required to use one from the forum site, the powers that be would need to look at that, I think only certain message boards are catered for at the moment. postimages.org/pluginsDave O

Following image is just for showing as an example of hosting, came across this site by accident, clicking on the image takes you to the hosting site where you can use the zoom tool to view. I was never a fan of photobucket. Postimage Looks nice and easy but click on the photo and you are taken to their website where there are some dodgy adverts. The photo does not display full size due to the page being taken up by adverts. If we are encouraging young spotters/enthusiasts this isnt the best, perhaps you can rework the postimage html coding to remove the adverts and just display the image. I will work on this if members want me to. You can display photos from your google drive if you have a google account easy enough with no adverts, by default with no subscription payments there is 30gb storage on google drive. Display as thumbnail, click to full size, i do not use any more than 1280 pixels wide. Here is a 250 pixel wide thumbnail, zooming to 1280 pixel wide on clicking. 200 pix and 1280 Takes a bit of work to do things this way but there are easier methods out there. Derbosoft make a plugin for proboards, highslide, see derbosoft section postings. It would be easy to use postimage with no adds using this code with [hs] at the start, and close with [/hs] [hs]addressofimage[/hs] Smashing shot btw Dave !
