Hi Wino
"Snake" is a callsign usually used by RAF Shadows, so I'm guessing one has dropped into Raytheon. I recall reading of an imminent systems upgrade for the Shadow fleet (I'm thinkng ZZ417 might be the testbed) - perhaps the program has started.

There is a sixth which I think is civil registered and plans for at least 2 more. Anyone have more detail?

JD I think the 6th is G-LBSB, registered to Gama Aviation and used as a trainer. There is a thread on FighterControl ( Shadow Question) with a little more info. It says the civvie will be converted to a "Shadow" (currently a standard King Air) and there will be 2 new build Shadows. I have it as visiting on 17 Jul 17 (or at least it went over Helsby on a probably approach)
