Beech 200 G-JASS of Lyddair was an early visitor this morning.
Cessna 172S G-OWST arrived late morning.

It has been reported on other forums and I can see from BA's website that Loganair are taking over the IOM-LCY service from Eastern on 1st September also using a Saab 2000. Hopefully this will prove more reliable than in recent months.
Whether they use one of their own aircraft or use an ex Eastern airframe remains to be seen. I wonder whether they will acquire G-CDKA, given that I have read that it has recently reappeared outside a hanger at Humberside still in full BA colours after major maintenance?

Used the LCY-IOM-LCY service last week; flew both ways on Eastern Airways G-CFLU. The return on Friday 17th was 'interesting', the earlier flight was cancelled, (engineering problems), but our 16:45 flight departed on time with empty seats although it was obvious there were passengers from the earlier flight still at Ronaldsway. We had asked for Level 1 assistance, but as the flight boarded we were told to go to the 'green area' which I guess is before security.
