About 1230 the following formation came south eastwards down the East coast of the IOM; Typhoons, south east over IOM, 14 Jan 19 (1) w by Philip Pain, on Flickr Typhoons, south east over IOM, 14 Jan 19 (1) cw by Philip Pain, on Flickr Typhoons, south east over IOM, 14 Jan 19 (4) w by Philip Pain, on Flickr I'm pretty sure they were RAF Typhoons (the second photo is an enlargement), so can anyone identify the four aircraft involved? Thanks. Thanks for that 'Ballasalla', I've just searched all the likely spotters reports for 14th January e.g. Lossiemouth, Coningsby, and much more. But there are no reports of such a formation departing/landing anywhere. They are not logged as having gone into Valley, which is the direction they were heading.
So still a bit of a mystery.
