Now we should all write to our MP's and local Councillors and demand direct rail services to Llandudno and Bangor - NOW! Locals hereabouts only think of Manchester when it comes to air travel but those who have used LJLA are always surprised and pleased with the service. Apart from the benefits to LJLA the city economy will benefit from shopping/social/entertainment patronage.
The next thing needing attention is the restriction on crossing the River Mersey. Every crossing is tolled from the mouth of the river to Warrington. This must have a restricting effect upon economic development. The city and regional authorities should be pushing for the lifting of tolls.
