Hello Folks. I was at Blackpool yesterday hoping to catch some of the participants based there for the Southport Air Show. But the main attraction was the stunning SAAB Sk37E Viggen SE-DXO of the Swedish Air Force Historic Flight. Some of the other Southport Air Show participants. BBMF Dakota ZA947 BBMF Spitfire PRXIX PM631. Apparently the red and white spinner is borrowed from PS915. Swedish Air Force Historic Flight SAAB J29F Tunnan SE-DXB. RAF Tucano T1 ZF448. Today was the Tucano final public display before the type retires from the RAF. The badges on the fuselage are those of: 72 Sqdn, 207 Sqdn, 76 Sqdn, 1 FTS, 3 FTS, 7 FTS and CFS and are only on the port side of the aircraft. Finally a few other additional items of interest. Citation II OY-JEV was the support aircraft for the Swedish Air Force Historic Flight. Gofstream G280 M-ISTY. Diamond DA-62 2-SALE Cheers Shaun

Hello 'VFR800'. Funninly enough the 1986 Finningley show was the last time i saw a Viggen in the splinter camo flying. Seen some silver and some grey ones flying since and a few in museums in various schemes. This weekends Viggen has to be Blackpool airports best visitor this year?. Cheers Shaun
