As soon as I saw the words 'kingfisher heavy' I couldn't wait to open the open the thread and I wasn't disappointed! One of the seemingly simpler items on my bucket list, but I've still never seen one, despite deliberately walking in areas where they're known to hang out. Lovely images!

Thanks Ian and yes, pretty pleased especially as the only one in the hide at the time Lots of people wish they could see a kingfisher Garstonboy, but don’t give up. Once you see your first, you will start to see far more as you then realise where and how to look for them.I have often been in hides and seen one fly across in front and no one else notices, as they fly so low and fast, but they usually call as they fly.
