Hi,
You have no doubt heard of ACARS data messaging systems on the VHF airband.
Our resident NWAN member ilt is very knowledgeable indeed on this subject.
Here I take on the challenge of receiving aircraft ACARS data messages from space, not using VHF, but right up there in the Microwave part of the radio spectrum...Enjoy.
