Hello folks Visited Shawbury on Sunday to get some pics of the fast jets based there for the Cosford Air Show. The weather brought about a speedy exit at 15:00 when the heavens opened, but up to then the light was OK(ish). The 'Reds' arrived at 1130, before displaying later at Cosford. They brought one of there 'new' jets XX322 and there first female pilot Flt Lt Kirsty Moore in her jet XX308. For the record those used for the Cosford display were: XX179, 227, 237, 264, 266, 294, 306, 308 and 322. Kirsty Moore in XX308. XX322 After returning from the Cosford display the pilots were taken to Cosford in ZJ256 and 267. ZJ267 Probably my main motivation to go to Shawbury was to photograph the Lossie GR4's. ZA459:F in 15 (R) Squadron special scheme and un-marked ZD741:089 did the display with spare ZG792:138 remaining at Shawbury. ZA459 ZD741 The other two RAF display items seen at Shawbury were the Typhoon and Hawk. ZJ916:QO-U and XX263 were the display aircraft with ZJ923:DM and XX220 as spares. ZJ916 XX263 Cheers Shaun
