This little bird, juvenile, flying around us to-day. No idea what it is but has stumped our resident ornithologist, Phil. Bird juvenile what.

Could be a Yellow Crowned Bishop.

It certain looks like a Yellow crowned Bishop but it’s a long way from Africa unless it’s an escapee. Either way it’s a cracking find.

I agree-probably an escapee- they do sell them I believe in specialist bird shops- could have a few twitchers heading to the area.

Maybe an inmate of Chester Zoo given the proximity to the Airport.
