Video in French but with a smattering of the tongue and the widespread us of aeronautical terms, you will get by. This reminds me a lot of my flight planning days when I started. The Douglas computer; visiting the real live person in the met office at Speke. Wow. How things have changed, and yet I still feel ill prepared without a chart with lines drawn on it. Some great images of the aircraft used at the beginning and after about half way through the video. Today, Cognac is still a large training base, and many of the places mentioned such as St Jean D'Angelly and Fontenay le Comte are in my "back yard" www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3IxW-wAHJ4(NB I passed my Class 2 medical earlier this week, wo I might actually make 60 years of flying !!)
