Something a little different... With a lot of spare time on my hands during the first 'lockdown' in 2020, I thought I'd keep myself occupied sorting out collections of various old photographs. Whilst going though a folder from July 2013 I came across an image of an Alaskan Central Express Beech 1900C that stopped over in the Isle of Man during a ferry flight from Africa to Alaska. Having missed the arrival I grabbed a quick 'record' shot of it parked up with the fence in-between- vaguely remember planning to see the departure, however ended up missing it for one reason and another. I paused sorting the photos out and had a quick go at editing the fence out with a small test patch to see if it was viable. It was and I made good progress until things opened back up last summer. Having since used the most recent lockdown to finish it off, the final results with a 'before & after' photo are attached below; Before ACE Beech 1900C N491QL Edit by IOM Aviation Photography, on Flickr After ACE Beech 1900C N491QL Edit by IOM Aviation Photography, on Flickr The aircraft is still flying for Alaska Central Express as N118AX Thanks for looking

I like doing that myself Alex. The trouble is when a post goes thru' the registration and completely covers a letter or number. It is OK if the number is repeated and you can clone it. What I tend to do is take a few shots moving left and right so the posts are not in harms way and covering difficult bits. Good job well done. Beemer.
