I got up at 3am(!) to drive down to Fairford to see the four 5BW B-52s on deployment from Minot, North Dakota. Unfortunately for me, it turned out to be a Press Day, so none of them flew. Neither did any of the U-2s, in their case probably because of the strong crosswind. However I'd taken my hiking boots so I did a long muddy walk around the southern fenceline from Marston Meysey to get some photos. It was well worth the effort, and a ladder isn't needed. 61-0003 B-2H by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 60-0044 & 61-0003 B-52H by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 60-0044 & 61-0003 B-52H by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 60-0044 B-52H by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 61-0039 B-52H by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 60-0044 & 61-0039 B-52H by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 61-0039 B-52H by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 61-0039 B-52H by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 60-0044 B-52H by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 61-0003 & 60-0044 B-52H by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 60-0044 B-52H by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 61-0003 B-52H by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 61-0003 B-52H by Dan Sprague, on Flickr
