I spent a late afternoon then two full days at Lakenheath in excellent weather. I thought it might be relatively quiet now that the F-15Cs and F-15Ds have left, but how wrong I was! Heat haze was a problem at times, but I shouldn't complain given that there was loads of flying. Even the one and only visitor was a star, an Australian C-17A. Here is a selection from across all three days. 91-334 F-15E by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 01-2000 F-15E by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 00-3001 F-15E (nearest) by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 19-5493 F-35A by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 19-5473 F-35A by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 91-335 F-15E by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 00-3001 F-15E by Dan Sprague, on Flickr F-15E by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 97-222 F-15E by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 97-0221 F-15E "Bolar 1" by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 97-219 F-15E by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 19-5493 F-35A by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 01-2000 F-15E by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 91-335 F-15E by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 98-131 & 91-327 F-15E "Golden One" by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 92-602 F-15E by Dan Sprague, on Flickr A41-211 C-17A by Dan Sprague, on Flickr L-R 19-5474 & 19-5493 F-35A by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 91-332 F-15E by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 91-311 F-15E "Lady Liberty" by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 19-5495 F-35A by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 19-5475 (left) & 19-5474 F-35A by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 97-222 F-15E by Dan Sprague, on Flickr

Thanks Ian. I thought the flat grey F-35s would be tricky but they turned out OK with the sun on them.

Mildenhall and Lakenheath still providing items of interest. Great to see.
