Bit random here, but not often that we see Caravelle pictures on the forum some a few here from South of France. The Air Inter was at Nice I think, along with the Gate guard. Not sure where the 9Q was taken but it was in the Guernsey batch!! My 2006 European Museums book has Alizé No.8 as preserved outside the military base at French Navy, Base Aéronavle de Rochefort-Soublise. Rochefort is between Nantes and St.Nazaire, so a little south of Brittany in neighbouring Pays de la Loire in my Atlas.
The Aero Club Féjus/St-Raphaël is in Southern France to the west of Nice and Cannes. The type is a Dassault 315 (or 312) Flamant. The location/aircraft is not listed in my 2006 European Museums book. In the 1950/1960s we even had a couple of Flamants visit Speke, mostly on weather diversion from Warton.
The Caravelle 10B3 (C/no 169 ff 03.03.64) first entered service with Finnair as OH-LSG and later as I-GISU with Altair, F-GELQ Europe Aero Service, HB-ICJ Air City before briefly 9Q-CPY Waltair 11.96, then 9Q-CPI still with Waltair 12.96. Eventually pwfu & stored .06. As to where, my production list does not reveal the location of its demise.

Was gone completely by Jan 2008.

Thanks for replies. A Flamant , yes the name rings a bell now . Must have rotted away after photo was taken.
