Hi. Hoping to connect with experts on here. For quite a few years I have used an old Canon canascan3200 to scan my slides. Perhaps not old. Maybe prehistoric is the word. I can only use it with XP, so I have a small laptop connected to it for this purpose. Its about 12 months since I used it. Here is an example of perhaps the last scan I made about a year ago. I agree its not the best but with a bit of manipulation I can make something of it. The photo subject/location in itself is worth the trouble. Print0003 by Ron Turner, on Flickr Today I thought I would blow the cobwebs off the trunk containing my slides. Brian posted something the other day and I think I have a few Convair shots I could contribute. Everything is coming up with a blue tint. Here is an example of the same photo today:- Print0004 by Ron Turner, on Flickr So what is wrong? What am I doing wrong? What have I forgotten in the last year? NB Although you might say the background etc gives rise to a blue tint and you may be right, I have tried others today where the conditions are very different, in fact perfect you might say, and still I get the blue tint. Thanks for your answers Ron
